Carnavales en los Andes Centrales- Danza e Historia" (5 Talleres)

Cinco Talleres donde se discutirá el significado histórico de las danzas y las celebraciones en los Andes durante la epoca de Carnavales, con instructores de danza.
Danzas: Carnaval Marqueño, Cortamonte (Estilo Jaujino), Huaylarsh de Carnaval.

Sociólogo y Anthropólogo Jose Hurtado,
Edda Hurtado, Cantante y bailarina con 40 años de experiencia enseñando y compartiendo la música y la cultura del centro del Perú.
Betty Caloretti, Coreógrafa e instructora, especializada en danzas del centro.

A series of lectures where the meaning and history of these celebrations will be discussed, intertwining them with dancing workshops that will improve your dancing skills the next time you end up in a Carnaval in the Andes.

Dances: Carnaval Marqueño, Cortamonte (Jauja Style), Huaylarsh de Carnaval.

Lectures will be lead by
Sociologist and Anthropologist Jose Hurtado,
Edda Hurtado, Singer and Dancer with experience of more than 40 years teaching and sharing Central Peru's Music and culture and
Betty Caloretti, Professional Dancer and Choreographer of Andean Dances.

On these series, there will be discussions about the Tawantinsuyu's forgotten history and past. Analysis on oral traditions left by marvelous legends,
as well as rediscovering the Spanish Conquest.
